Are you qualified/insured?
Carpets & Critters’ owner/operator, Tony Hatton, is Qualified carpet layer with a national certificate in flooring through BCITO. He is a fully licensed pest control technician with an Approved Handler Certificate and is NZ Certified in Level 3 Urban Pest Management as well as having full public liability insurance. He is also IICRC Certified (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification).

Can you really repair carpets?
Yes! Carpets that are rippling or bulging, have stubborn dirt and/or stains or have been damaged by furniture, work on the property or any other accidents don’t always need replacing. We can save you thousands by repairing, restretching and/or patching your carpets.
Do you work in commercial or residential spaces?
With our skills, knowledge and experience, we offer our services to customers in BOTH commercial and residential spaces. No project is too big or challenge too great for Carpets & Critters.
What kind of pest management do you offer?
Carpets & Critters can effectively put an end to infestations of flies, ants, fleas, wasps, spiders, carpet moths, beetles, rats, mice and any other uninvited visitors. In addition to eliminating existing pest problems, we also provide our clients with complete pest management solutions to keep them gone for good. For Commercial operations, we can complete a pest risk assessment and management plan with the option of progress reviews. For Residential services we can schedule a call back inspection to check on infestations .
Carpet cleaning frequency & dry times?
Along with carpet manufactures we recommend cleaning your carpets annually to fully remove all allergies, dirt & soiling.
Under normal drying condition your carpets should be dry between 4-6 hours
